Day 6 - I just don't get it!

I mentioned in yesterday's "fan-zine" how hot and humid it has been here. Now today I realize that this town has a big ol' fan that they could be using to cool the place off! Just look at that picture!

I've been sweating my tailfeathers off and they are too cheap to run the giant fan.

Here I am - a tourist in this state and this city - "the Star City of the Northeast" indeed - and I'm spending my hard-earned money to lift their sagging economy (for example, I just got back from Lowes where I spent $0.79 on hangers for window blinds!) and I don't get even a little consideration?

Like it would kill them to run it for just the week I am in town? How much could it cost? Even just to run it on "low"? That would drain their coffers?

I tell you what? If they think that this kind of behavior is going to bring ME back to this ...


Huh? What? Oh, nothin. Well you weren't using it. You were hanging a blind. What? It's not a giant fan? It's a windmill? It generates electricity. Not wind?
